REASI, Oct. 22 -- In continuation of its ongoing efforts to strengthen public safety and security, District Police Reasi conducted inspections of shops dealing in fertilisers, chemicals and other regulated materials across the district to prevent potential security hazards and ensure strict compliance with prescribed rules and regulations. During the drive, 62 shops were inspected, with sale registers, stock details and other relevant records thoroughly scrutinised. Shopkeepers were directed to maintain proper records and ensure strict adherence to applicable regulations. They were also instructed to install CCTV cameras at their premises to strengthen surveillance and facilitate effective monitoring of activities.
