KATHUA, Aug. 8 -- DIG JKS Range, Sh. Shiv Kumar, IPS, today conducted an extensive security review of Kathua district ahead of the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations. He visited Police Station Kathua, the District Stadium - the main venue for the August 15 function - and the SSP Office, Kathua.
During the visit, the DIG chaired a security review meeting and issued detailed instructions to all SDPOs, SHOs, and in-charges of police posts to take strict action against anti-national and anti-social elements.
He also appealed to the public to remain vigilant and share timely information with the police in case of any suspicious movement, persons, or activities, to ensure a safe and secure celebration.
