NEW DELHI, May 27 -- The Delhi government has approved the renaming of Rohini West Metro Station as 'Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital Metro Station' and Dwarka Metro Station as 'Dwarka-Kakrola Metro Station'. A newly built sports complex in Rohini will be named 'Atal Khel Parisar'.
The decisions were approved at a meeting of the State Names Authority (SNA) chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta at the Delhi Secretariat, according to a statement. Rohini East Metro Station will be renamed as 'Rohini Metro Station' to provide a clearer identity and improve convenience for commuters, it stated.
