REASI, Aug. 26 -- District Development Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek today chaired a meeting to review the progress of slope stabilization and road restoration works at the vulnerable stretch on the R-A-M Road. During the meeting, issues related to BMG Road and Mahore Market Road were also discussed in detail.
The meeting discussed the ongoing restoration works aimed at strengthening the road, preventing further slope failure and ensuring smooth and safe movement of traffic. Officials informed the chair that heavy rainfall, increased hydrostatic pressure and surface erosion had damaged the uphill formation and affected the road infrastructure.
