REASI, April 28 -- Deputy Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek chaired a meeting to review preparedness of departments for summer season, particularly effective management of Heatwave amid rising temperatures.
A comprehensive assessment of departmental readiness was undertaken, with emphasis on a coordinated and proactive response. The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to remain alert, respond promptly to IMD advisories and strengthen mitigation measures including establishment of dedicated cool rooms in hospitals, equipping ambulances for heat-related emergencies and regulating working hours where necessary.
