RAJOURI, June 18 -- Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma chaired a review meeting of the health sector under the National Health Mission (NHM) to assess the progress of healthcare initiatives, developmental works and service delivery across the district.
The DC took a detailed assessment of key health indicators, implementation of NHM programmes, functioning of health institutions and progress on infrastructure development projects.
On maternal and child healthcare, he directed officers concerned to ensure 100 percent institutional deliveries across the district, calling for enhanced field-level monitoring, awareness generation and timely referral mechanisms to achieve the objective.
