KISHTWAR, Sept. 10 -- As part of ongoing efforts to empower farmers and promote agricultural mechanization, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pankaj Kumar Sharma today handed over a tractor key to a farmer, Mohammed Shafi, from the far-flung area of Nowpachi, Sub Division Marwah under the Farm Mechanization and Automation Scheme of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) for the year 2025-26. The farmer received a 50% subsidy, with a maximum limit of ? 4.5 lakh, to facilitate the adoption of modern farming practices in remote areas.
