JAMMU, July 30 -- Deputy Commissioner Dr Rakesh Minhas today chaired a meeting to review arrangements for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations in the district and take stock of preparations for the event.
The DC reviewed venue preparations and directed the departments concerned to expedite work at the main function venue to ensure it is ready well in time. He also directed officers to ensure proper decoration and illumination of government offices and other places across the district.
