RAMBAN, Aug. 11 -- A two-day district-level training programme on Population Enumeration (PE), organised in the run-up to Phase-II of Census-2027, commenced today in the Conference Hall, Maitra.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, who is also the Principal Census Officer for the district, inaugurated the training programme in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak, District and Charge-level Officers and other designated officials.
The training programme is aimed at imparting the necessary knowledge, technical know-how and operational skills required for the smooth and effective conduct of Phase-II of Census-2027 in the district.
