DODA, Dec. 19 -- Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of the District Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) here at Conference Hall DC Office Complex.
The meeting was convened to review the overall functioning, coordination mechanism and implementation of animal welfare measures in the district.
Emphasis was laid on strengthening institutional coordination and ensuring effective enforcement of provisions related to the prevention of cruelty to animals.
