KATHUA, Sept. 29 -- Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the functioning of the Narco Coordination Centre (NCORD) in the district. The DC emphasized the need for a collective and sustained approach to curb the menace of drug abuse. He called upon stakeholder departments to intensify awareness campaigns at the grassroots level, involving Panchayati Raj Institutions, educational institutions and civil society to sensitize the youth about the harmful effects of drug addiction.
