Jammu, Aug. 18 -- The BJP's appointment of party leaders as in-charges for Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat has triggered curiosity within the party's Jammu and Kashmir unit over who will be named the new in-charge for the Union Territory.
The announcement came hours after BJP national president Nitin Nabin unveiled the party's new organisational team on Tuesday. The latest appointments are significant as the BJP prepares for the 2027 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat.
