SAMBA, Aug. 22 -- Continuing its sustained crackdown against bovine smuggling and their propagators, Samba Police has successfully foiled a bovine smuggling attempt within the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba. In the operation, one bovine smuggler was arrested, 15 bovines were rescued and the vehicle used for their illegal transportation was seized.
Acting on reliable information regarding the illegal transportation of bovines, a joint police team from Police Station Samba and Police Post Supwal launched an operation and established naka points along the National Highway at Mansar Morh and Supwal.
