Jammu, May 5 -- The Indian National Congress in Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness a reshuffle in its organisational structure following the conclusion of Assembly elections in four states and one Union Territory, party sources indicated.

The move comes amid a sustained campaign by dissident leaders against the incumbent Pradesh Congress Committee headed by Tariq Hamid Karra. According to sources, the party high command had earlier planned a reorganisation to address internal dissent but deferred the decision in view of the ongoing electoral engagements across multiple states.
