JAMMU, March 28 -- Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed district court complex in Leh, marking a significant step towards strengthening judicial infrastructure in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Vinai Kumar Saxena, and the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Arun Palli, according to an official spokesperson.
Upon arrival, the Chief Justice was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour, followed by a traditional welcome featuring a cultural performance that showcased Ladakh's rich heritage.
