BIS JKBO conducts awareness camp for Gold and Silver Jewellery dealers at Katra

KATRA, Sept. 17 -- Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu & Kashmir Branch Office (JKBO), conducted an awareness camp for gold and silver jewellery dealers at Katra today, in collaboration with the Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Jammu and the Legal Metrology Department, Jammu.

The programme aimed to create awareness among jewellery dealers regarding the BIS Hallmarking Scheme, applicable standards, and various BIS initiatives related to quality assurance and consumer protection.
