JAMMU, June 6 -- Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu & Kashmir Branch Office (JKBO), marked World Environment Day 2025 by organizing a series of impactful activities across various districts of Jammu & Kashmir, in alignment with the global theme "Ending Plastic Pollution Globally."
The celebrations commenced with a Plantation Camp led by Shri Tilak Raj, Director and Head, BIS JKBO, at the green belt in front of SIDCO Park, Bari Brahmana, Jammu-an area maintained by BIS JKBO.
