SRINAGAR, March 14 -- The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar on Saturday organised the "BIS - FOSS NIT Srinagar - Open Standard Summit". It brought together experts, industry professionals, and students to deliberate on the role of open standards and open-source technologies in strengthening India's digital ecosystem.

The event was organised in collaboration with the Institute's FOSS Club and featured technical talks, interactive sessions, and hands-on activities aimed at familiarising students with national standards frameworks and the evolving architecture of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI).
