Jammu, July 8 -- The 50th Foundation Day of the Beas-Sutlej Link (BSL) Project was celebrated with great dignity at Pandoh Dam by the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) on 07 July 2026.
On this occasion, the Hon'ble Chairman, BBMB, Er. Manoj Tripathi, Member (Irrigation), and other senior officers paid floral tributes at the Martyrs' Memorial in honour of those who made the supreme sacrifice during the construction of the project. This was followed by the performance of a Havan and traditional prayers at the dam site. Addressing the gathering, the Chairman emphasized the need to adopt modern technology and mechanization in the operation and maintenance of Pandoh Dam in view of the evolving environmental challenges.
