JAMMU, Feb. 20 -- Former Vice Chairman and social activist Balbir Ram Rattan, along with prominent businessman Prem Gupta, on Friday, served langar to a large number of poor and needy people in the Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu city.
The langar, being run by Prem Gupta, has been serving free day meals to underprivileged sections of society uninterruptedly for over 14 months. Every day, hundreds of people, including daily wage workers, elderly citizens, and poor individuals, benefit from the initiative, which has become a symbol of compassion and community solidarity in the area.
