KISHTWAR, June 7 -- In a significant effort to educate the public on two vital issues like environmental conservation and legal awareness, a joint program was held yesterday at Government Higher Secondary School Binoon, Bunjwah, Kishtwar.
The events were aimed to sensitize the public about the importance of environmental protection as well as to inform them about the newly enacted criminal laws in India.
The first event was organised by Block Development Office Bunjwah to mark World Environment Day, in which Tehsildar Bunjwah, Tajinder Sharma, presided over the function as the Chief Guest, while Aijaz Ahmed Butt, BDO Bunjwah & In-charge Principal of HSS Binoon, were the Guest of Honour.
