Jammu, April 28 -- The Special Crime Wing (SCW) Jammu organized a one-day awareness programme at Bal Bharti Public School, Channi Rama, focusing on the new criminal laws, anti-drug awareness under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, and the role of youth in community development.

During the session, SCW officers briefed students and faculty about the three new criminal laws that came into effect on July 1, 2024 - Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).

The officers explained the key provisions of these laws and highlighted their significance in modernizing India's criminal justice system.
