BIJBEHARA, Feb. 14 -- The Tehsil Social Welfare Office Bijbehara today organised an awareness programme under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, with participation from a large number of elderly residents. The programme aimed to educate people about the importance of caring for parents and senior citizens and to inform them about various government schemes available for their welfare.
