RAMBAN, Sept. 18 -- The two-day 38th Ramban District Volleyball Championship for boys, organised by the Volleyball Association of J&K under the aegis of the J&K Sports Council, in collaboration with the J&K Excise Department, was inaugurated on Friday at the District Police Lines, Ramban.
Additional SP (ASP) Ramban Majeeb-ur-Rehman inaugurated the championship as the Chief Guest, while DSP Kuldeep Sharma was the Guest of Honour.
The championship aims to mobilise youth against drug addiction and promote sports, physical fitness and a drug-free Jammu & Kashmir. Messages related to cleanliness, My Youth My Pride, Fit India and other social initiatives were also highlighted during the event.
