JAMMU, Feb. 11 -- In a major step aimed at improving water supply infrastructure, MLA Jammu West Arvind Gupta inaugurated a newly installed High Capacity (HC) pumping unit at CPS R-22 under the JMC CAPEX programme.
The project, completed at a cost of Rs 23.04 lakh, is expected to significantly enhance the availability and efficiency of water supply for residents of the West Constituency.
The pumping unit, with a specification of 50,000 GPH x 122-metre head, has been installed to address growing water demand and ensure smoother distribution across the area.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Arvind Gupta said that strengthening basic infrastructure remains a priority to improve the quality of life for citizens.
