Poonch, Feb. 7 -- Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Saturday lauded the high standards of professionalism and readiness demonstrated by the soldiers deployed along the Line of Control and International Borders.
The Army Chief during his visit to forward areas of Poonch Sector today while addressing the soldiers commended their unwavering dedication and exceptional state of preparedness.
General Dwivedi reviewed operational preparedness and assessed deployment posture, surveillance measures and security arrangements. He also reviewed the overall readiness of formations deployed in the sector.
