CHANDIGARH, July 12 -- The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, has invited nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar until July 31. The awards recognise children who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in the fields of bravery, sports, social science, science and technology, environment, art, and culture. Children aged 5 to 18 years as of July 31 are eligible for consideration. The selected awardees will be honoured by the President of India at a ceremony scheduled for January 2027. The awards will be officially announced on December 26, 2026, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas.
