Leh, April 26 -- Reacting to the developments, the Apex Body of Ladakh termed the Home Minister's visit a crucial opportunity to resolve long-pending issues and restore public trust.

At a high-level meeting in Leh, the body stressed that the visit must yield concrete outcomes rather than remain limited to prolonged deliberations. While welcoming the announcement of the May 22 talks, members expressed concern that secretary-level discussions may lack the authority required for decisive action.
