Anantnag, Feb. 14 -- Continuing its intensified crackdown against narcotics, Anantnag Police on Saturday arrested a drug peddler and recovered a substantial quantity of contraband from his possession during routine patrolling.

A police party from Police Post Sangam, during routine patrolling duty at Doonipora near Weeta College, intercepted a suspicious individual. Upon search, the accused was found in possession of approximately 5.66 kilograms of Ganja like substance.
