POONCH, Sept. 16 -- Chief Principal Census Officer (CPCO) and Director, Census Operations, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Amit Sharma, today visited Poonch and reviewed the preparedness for the forthcoming Census during a meeting held at Poonch.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Ashok Kumar Sharma briefed the CPCO on the district-level preparedness and arrangements for the Census operations.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Sayeed, DSEO Javid Ahmed and other concerned officers also attended the meeting.
Detailed discussions were held on field arrangements, inter-departmental coordination, availability of resources and other preparatory activities.
