SAMBA, Aug. 26 -- The Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, Samba, held a press conference at the Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Bhawan, Samba, under the presidentship of Amardeep Singh, to voice its strong opposition to the proposed UGC Equity Regulations 2026 and highlight concerns over their possible impact on the future, educational opportunities and rights of children.
Addressing the media, the Sabha expressed serious apprehension over certain provisions of the proposed regulations and said that any policy concerning the education system must be examined carefully before implementation, particularly when it has the potential to affect students and their families.
