SRINAGAR, Oct. 16 -- Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday hailed the government's decision to resume the traditional biannual Darbar Move, calling it a "commendable step" that preserves Jammu and Kashmir's historic legacy and socio-cultural fabric.

Bukhari in a statement as per news agency KINS said that while the practice of shifting offices between Srinagar and Jammu may no longer be essential for administrative efficiency, it continues to carry immense social, cultural, and economic significance for the Union Territory.
