DEORIA, Aug. 29 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, exposing the corruption of the Samajwadi Party, stated, "The initial cost of the JPNIC (Jaiprakash Narayan International Centre) built in Lucknow was only Rs 200 crore. The SP spent Rs 864 crore on it, yet it remained incomplete. This was not the money of the 'Saifai Syndicate', but the money of the people of the state. These people used to squander public money like water. If the government had invested money in it now, at least another Rs 150-200 crore would have been spent. They wanted to spend Rs 900-1000 crore from the government treasury and hand over this centre to a private company, which included Akhilesh, Dimple and Dharmendra Yadav."
