JAMMU, March 28 -- A three-day Mass Casualty Management (MCM) training program was successfully organized from March 26 to 28 at AIIMS Vijaypur, Jammu under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) D.N Sharma, ED and CEO, AIIMS Jammu. The program was conducted under the expert supervision of Dr Harald Veen, MCM Course Lead, WHO, an internationally recognized course leader in disaster and emergency care.
The primary objective of the program was to enhance the preparedness and response capacity of healthcare professionals in managing mass casualty incidents effectively especially in casualty-prone areas in the North zone.
