JAMMU, Sept. 29 -- All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jammu, has earned national recognition at the 26th National Conference of the Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology (FHNO 2026) held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, from 10-13 September 2026, with Dr Vishwajeet Singh Jamwal, Research Scientist, securing the Silver Medal in the Best Poster Presentation category for his innovative study on a dental risk score for patients undergoing radiotherapy for head and neck cancer. The study focuses on identifying and managing oral and dental risks among patients receiving radiotherapy treatment, with the potential to support safer and more personalised clinical care.
