JAMMU, Dec. 4 -- AIIMS Jammu has announced its plan to establish a Global Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, following a high-level delegation visit on 15 November 2025 from Axonic Health, UK, and Claidroid Technologies, including Dr. Abhay Chopada, Prof. (Dr.) B. L. Raina, and Mr. Vinay Sawarkar.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on AIIMS Jammu's current and planned AI initiatives, including AI-powered diagnostics, predictive medicine, clinical decision support, surgical support, virtual care, and telemedicine. Prof. (Dr.) Shakti Kumar Gupta shared insights on ongoing digital transformation projects, highlighting the institution's vision for integrating AI into healthcare delivery.
