JAMMU, May 21 -- Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Jammu, Sher Singh today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan Dhan Pension Yojana (PM-SYM) in the district.
Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan (PM-SYM) is a voluntary, contributory pension scheme of the Government of India for workers in the unorganized sector.
While discussing the benefits of this social security scheme, the ADDC asked stakeholder departments to maximize the coverage of construction workers, labourers, municipal workers, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, traders, domestic workers, members of Self Help Groups (SHGs), Vishwakarma workers and handicraft workers.
