RAJOURI, April 13 -- The Ace of Spades Division observed Rajouri Day 2026 with deep reverence and spirited celebrations, honouring the memory of the brave soldiers and civilians who made the ultimate sacrifice during the historic liberation of Rajouri in 1947-48. The occasion stood as a testament to courage, unity and enduring patriotism.
The commemorations began with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the newly renovated Gujjar Mandi Chowk, where homage was paid to the valiant heroes. Special tribute was accorded to distinguished leaders such as Brigadier Mohammad Usman and Lieutenant Ram Raghoba Rane for their exemplary role in the liberation of Rajouri on 13 April 1948.
