DODA, June 24 -- Three members of a family were killed and two others injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Malhori area of Assar tehsil in Doda district on Wednesday evening, officials said.
According to officials, a vehicle (No. JK02DB-6037) skidded off the road and met with an accident at Malhori. Rescue teams, along with local residents, immediately rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
The deceased were identified as Jai Singh (46), son of Mukhtyar Singh; his wife Babli Devi (44); and their daughter Sonakshi (13). While Babli Devi and Sonakshi died on the spot, Jai Singh was brought dead to the hospital.
