Jammu, Sept. 15 -- To ensure strict implementation of the THQ Traffic Advisory issued for 15.09.2025 whereby only down-movement of vehicles on NH-44 was authorised , a Traffic Naka was established at Jagti near IIM Jammu.
At around 1000 hrs, 3 commercial Swift vehicles bearing Registration No(S) JK06C-0915, JK17A-6305 and JK17A-6364 were intercepted and found to be transporting passengers towards Doda-Kishtwar in violation of Traffic Advisory as well as charging fares above the approved rate. The drivers started misbehaving with the Traffic Cops and refused to comply lawful directions requiring them to produce documents.
They were detained immediately and taken to Police Station Nagrota. The drivers have been identified as under:
