Jammu, Sept. 10 -- Jammu Police on Thursday apprehended two suspected drug peddlers and recovered around 250-260 grams of a heroin-like narcotic substance during naka checking at Dhaleri in the jurisdiction of Police Station Khour.
According to police, a team from Police Station Khour was conducting naka checking at Dhaleri when it intercepted a car bearing registration number JK02BD-0771 for checking. The driver allegedly attempted to flee, following which the police party chased and intercepted the vehicle at some distance.
During the subsequent search, police recovered approximately 250-260 grams of heroin-like substance from the possession of the two occupants.
