India, Oct. 3 -- AI tools are now at the heart of how people search, browse, and work in the cloud. But as Google's Gemini suite recently showed, these same strengths can also become weaknesses. Security researchers at Tenable uncovered three serious vulnerabilities, collectively named the Gemini Trifecta, that exposed users to silent data theft and manipulation.

Though Google has already remedied these flaws, the lessons run deep. For enterprises betting big on AI-driven platforms, the Gemini Trifecta is a reminder that the AI itself can become the attack vehicle.

Tenable's analysis revealed that the vulnerabilities spanned three core components of Gemini, each of which was exploitable in different ways:
