India, Sept. 16 -- The Seagate AI report points to a clear shift in how Indian enterprises are preparing for AI. As workloads grow, storage is moving from a back-end IT function to a strategic part of business infrastructure.

Seagate Technology's inaugural 2026 Data Infrastructure Readiness Report found that 100% of Indian technology decision-makers surveyed expect AI to increase their organisations' storage requirements over the next three years. The same share also sees storage becoming strategic business infrastructure, compared with 98% globally.
