India, March 12 -- New Relic has announced plans to establish a Japanese datacentre as part of its expansion strategy in Asia. The facility, expected to be operational in July 2026, will be located in Tokyo and will support enterprises seeking domestic data residency and lower latency observability services.

The New Relic Japanese datacentre will serve as the company's first infrastructure presence in the country. The move reflects growing demand from enterprises operating in regulated industries that require data to remain within national borders.
