India, Sept. 11 -- The DeepSeek V4.1 Flash model is pushing the AI market further into a battle over cost. The Chinese AI startup has launched its latest model with sharply lower pricing as developers increasingly look for AI systems that can handle high volumes of queries, reasoning and agentic tasks without sending infrastructure and operating costs higher.

The move comes at a time when AI competition is shifting. Model performance still matters, but the cost of running those models is becoming harder for businesses to ignore.
