India, Oct. 23 -- AI is helping developers write code faster, but software teams are not always delivering work faster. That is the central finding of Atlassian's global 2026 State of Developer Experience report, which points to a growing gap between individual productivity and overall software delivery.

The report suggests that adding AI tools is only part of the answer. Teams must also address the everyday problems that slow work down, from finding information to reviewing code and managing unclear requirements.
