India, March 12 -- Ai+ Smartphone has entered into a manufacturing agreement with Optiemus Electronics to produce smartphones, tablets, IoT devices and advanced wearable products in India. The collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening domestic electronics manufacturing under the Government of India's Make in India initiative.

Under the agreement, the companies plan to invest approximately Rs. 125 crore over the next five years in India-based manufacturing infrastructure. The initiative is expected to generate around 1,200 direct and indirect jobs across manufacturing, operations and associated supply chain functions.
