India, May 30 -- In March 2024, a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court of India comprising then Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud, J B Pardiwala, and Manoj Misra handed down a judgment that put a bird - the Great Indian Bustard (GIB) - at the centre of a debate about birds, solar panels, and the Constitution.
