India, Aug. 6 -- Zinc futures edged lower on Thursday, with the August contract declining 45 paise, or 0.11%, to Rs 391.70 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).
The contract recorded a business turnover of 1,457 lots during the session.
Analysts attributed the decline to reduced positions by traders, amid weak demand from consuming industries and negative cues from the physical market.
