India, Sept. 2 -- Zinc futures declined Rs 1.45 to Rs 415 per kg in Wednesday's trade, weighed down by weak demand in the physical market and reduced exposure by speculators.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for September delivery fell 0.35% to Rs 415 per kg, with a business turnover of 698 lots.
Analysts said sluggish demand from consuming industries in the spot market prompted market participants to trim their positions, putting pressure on zinc futures prices.
